New Domain!
Using some early eHow earnings that I had sitting in my PayPal account, I went ahead and purchased cashmoneyretards.com from GoDaddy for around $10 (domain prices have gone up!). My dear friends on Digital Point recommended that if I can't afford to leave the free confines of Blogger and pay for my own hosting, I should at least use my own domain. A lot of them seem to know what they're talking about, so I went ahead and made it happen by following some built-in Google instructions. Love that fresh domain smell on this fine summer's eve.
Friend Whore
It's been a couple days, and no one has suggested any Facebook friends for me, so I've been forced to be proactive. I appropriately joined the group 'Friend Whore', where "the group's sole purpose is to add each other as friends". I got a little dirty, and sent out a couple hundred friend invites, which by the way, takes for freaking ever. I'll let you know if I catch anything!
Tweetle Dumbass
I also followed a few hundred people on Twitter in hopes of some reciprocation. To be honest, Twitter doesn't really do it for me, but due to its insane popularity, I'd be a fool to ignore it. To help ease my lazy ass into my revived Tweeter role, I signed up with SocialOomph (used to be Tweetlater), so I could have access to a plethora of automated Twitter tools. Now, whenever someone follows me, SocialOomph automatically sends them a direct message from my Twitter account. I also have it set so that if a new person follows me, I follow them, and on the flip, if someone unfollows me, I give em a little who's your father. I only signed up for the basic account, but it looks like you get a ton of extra features if you go pro. Seems like a pretty slick program.

Congrats on your domain name, Dave! Just curious why you chose GoDaddy instead of buying the domain through Blogger?
Thanks Crystal,
I've used Godaddy for a while, and I'm very familiar with their backend. GoDaddy definitely has their flaws, but I figured I might as well go with a domain seller with no surprises.
Thanks!
