Online Earnings Status Update: Week 1.5

Since the Sept 3, when I started this blog, I've banked a cool $1.43 from Google Adsense. Go ahead and laugh it up, but my revenue last Wednesday was at $.07 - that's a 2042% revenue increase. I keep up this pace, and I'll have $600 million by Fall.

Ehow is still stuck at $.49, though I'm not sure if that's accurate due to the payment reporting problems that their system has been plagued with all week. Those are still my only two streams of revenue, putting me at a total of a nice, plump $1.92.

As of yesterday, 88% of my 66 unique visitors have come from referral sites:

• 17 from Facebook (Mr. Laserwood is at 250 friends)
• 14 from eHow (combination of my forum signature and my profile page)
• 10 from Digital Point forums
• 11 from comments that I made on four different blog postings (relevant - I wasn't spamming)
• 3 from Twitter (360 followers though I actually know maybe two of them)
• The rest are just miscellaneous details

I still haven't received any hits from search engine traffic, though I attribute that partly to my recent domain purchase - the change hasn't been indexed yet, and without being indexed, those stuck up search engines won't give me any play. I'm confident Google will find me again in the near future (I submitted my new URL just the other day). Oh, and just in case you didn't know, you can find out if your site is indexed by searching for "site:http://yoursitenamehere.com" in Google.
