2011 Update

It's been well over a year since I last added a post...I've been busy. To be honest, I totally forgot about this blog until yesterday; I was going through my 2010 income and spending for a meeting with my tax guy today, and I realized that this year, I actually have to claim the money that I've made from my 2010 Internet ventures.

This marks a milestone on two accounts. One, never have I ever been excited about paying taxes, and two, it reminded me that I've achieved my goal of making an extra $500/month (I think that was the original amount) through my Internet revenue streams.

I won't give the exact amount of my current average monthly earnings, but I will say that my efforts over the last year or so are finally starting to pay off; my 2010 earnings (mainly through affiliate referrals) were nearly 400% higher than my net investments (hosting, outsourcing writers, a couple MMO service subscriptions). You're not going to find those kind of results in the first year with a brick and mortar operation. My goal is to crack $10,000 in total revenue for 2011 - I have a lot of work to do, but I'm closing in on the needed pace to make it happen.
